Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) Film Screening: Coco In-Person
The Day of the Dead (el Día de Muertos), is a Mexican tradition where families welcome back the souls of their deceased relatives for a brief reunion that includes food, drink and celebration.
The IEC is teaming up with the AC Latino Club and the Students' Association to screen the 2017 Disney Pixar film Coco, which explores this important holiday. Join us for popcorn, the screening, and learning about el Día de Muertos in the Student Commons Corner Lounge.
Complimentary Pan de Muertos (Bread of the Dead) and hot chocolate will be available during the event.
