Ready to embrace winter and discover the beauty of Gatineau Park? Join the IEC and the National Capital Commission for an exciting guided snowshoe hike and experience winter like never before! ✨This is a FREE fun student event. Don’t miss out!
🌟 What’s in store:
- Learn how animals in Gatineau Park adapt to winter
- Discover a fun and accessible winter sport—snowshoeing!
- Explore the wonders of nature while practicing environmentally respectful activities
🧤 What to wear & bring:
- Dress warmly in a hat, gloves or mittens, scarf, winter jacket, snow pants, and waterproof winter boots!
- Pack snacks, a water bottle, and don’t forget sunscreen—yes, even in winter!
⏰ Event Schedule:
The Hike is scheduled for 90 mins
⏰10:30 am - Meet at the IEC Main Office(C021) - C Building
🚍11:00am – Board the bus to 33 Chem. Scott, Chelsea, QC J9B 1R5
🚍2:00pm - Board the bus back to Algonquin College
🚍 3:00pm (approx) – Arrive back at C Building
