Global Townhall: International Student Meet-Up & Forum In-Person

Are you an international student or a student who cares about the experiences of international students on campus? Join us for icebreakers, refreshments, and discussion about how our community can support international students. Meet members of the International Student Advisory Committee and Algonquin College staff to share your feedback and concerns! The Global Townhall is a space to address priorities and concerns impacting Algonquin College’s international student community. All learners at Perth, Pembroke, and Woodroffe campuses are invited to attend – regardless of international or domestic student status. This event is hosted by the International Student Advisory Committee, a group chaired by members of the International Education Centre and Students’ Association.

The topic for this semester's townhall will be "Reducing Barriers for International Student Support"

Sub-topics will include:

Orientation: Being New To Canada
International Student Mental Health & Well-Being
Communicating Information

Register to attend in-person (at Woodroffe campus) or online. Refreshments will be served on campus. Campus registration is available for up to 80 learners.
