Ready to embrace winter and discover the beauty of Gatineau Park? Join the IEC and the National Capital Commission for an exciting guided snowshoe hike and experience winter like never before! ✨This is a FREE fun student event with a $5 deposit at the AC Hub! The deposit will be refunded to you on the day of the event. Don’t miss out!
🌟 What’s in store:
- Learn how animals in Gatineau Park adapt to winter
- Discover a fun and accessible winter sport—snowshoeing!
- Explore the wonders of nature while practicing environmentally respectful activities
🧤 What to wear & bring:
- Dress warmly in a hat, gloves or mittens, scarf, winter jacket, snow pants, and waterproof winter boots!
- Pack snacks, a water bottle, and don’t forget sunscreen—yes, even in winter!
⏰ Event Schedule:
- 12:00 pm - Meet at the Student Commons (E Building)
- The Hike is scheduled for 90 mins
- 3:30 pm - Return to Algonquin College (C Building)
