International Student Support Group (Drop-In) In-Person

Are you an international student looking for a supportive community? Our international student support group is run in collaboration with Counselling Services and the International Education Centre to provide a safe space for meaningful conversations with students from all over the world. In this group, you will have the opportunity to connect over differences and similarities, and an opportunity to express your thoughts. Themes may include discussing navigating cultural shock, homesickness and building resilience.

Each meeting will have a general theme and you are welcome to participate, or just sit in and listen.

Our group is run by facilitators who are committed to building a safe, culturally responsive environment.

Program details:

Meetings will take place biweekly Mondays from 3 pm-4 pm, starting September 16 until December 9. Meetings will be held:
- September 16
- September 30
- October 28
- November 4
- November 11
- November 25
- December 9
This is an in-person group.
This group is free.
This group does not meet during the mid-term break (October 21)

This group meets in C126 (1st floor, C building). Just drop by!
