Role Play Situation #1:

The International Olympic community (IOC) has awarded your city the next Olympics.

Group A: You are a political activist. You are strongly against both the Olympics being held in your city and the Olympics themselves. Think of reasons why: 1) your city shouldn't host the Olympics (and if you'd like to go further 2) why the Olympics should be cancelled permanently).

Group B: You are pro-Olympics. You are happy your city will host the next games. Think of reasons why the Olympics are a great event for humanity and your city.

Role Play Situation #2:

Space Exploration

Group A: You believe that space exploration is the key to the survival of the human race. Think of other reasons why space exploration is important. Ask the other group what they think of the new mission to Mars.

Group B: Governments worldwide spend billions of dollars on space exploration. Your group believes it's a waste of time and money. Earth has many problems. We need to fix our own problems instead of flying off into space. Think of other reasons to support your argument.
