Trip to the Sugar Bush
Spend the day with us at Proulx Farms as we explore their sugar bush and experience Maple Fest!
What is a sugar bush? A sugar bush is a forest of maple trees which are tapped to make maple syrup! When the winter ice and snow begin to melt, maple trees start producing sap. The sap is then collected through tapping the trees, boiled over a wood fire, and made into delicious maple syrup!
Join us at Proulx Farms as we explore their sugar bush, learn about the maple syrup making process, go on a hayride, meet and engage with the farm animals, and have a pancake lunch with fresh sausages and maple syrup!
