SOLD OUT: Gatineau Park - Pink Lake Hike In-Person
Join the IEC for a hike to feel the fall breeze and autumn leaves around Pink Lake in the Gatineau Hills. The Pink Lake Trail is a 2.3-km loop around the lake, which has several sets of stairs and interpretation panels. Pink Lake is described as Gatineau Park’s most outstanding lake, because of its unusual makeup. Its rare beauty makes it one of the most popular sites in the Park.
- 9:45am – Check-in in front of Building C (please be on time)
- 10:00am – Board the bus and depart
- 10:30am – Arrive at Pink Lake
- 10:45am – Start Hike
- 11:45am – Stop for Picnic lunch (bring your own)
- 12:45pm – Meet back in the parking lot & depart for Algonquin College
- 1:30pm – Arrive back at Algonquin College, Building C
Pack a picnic lunch and snacks, waterbottle, and don't forget your sunscreen and walking shoes. The bus will depart from the front of C building at 10am sharp. If you are not able to join, please cancel at least a day in advance to open your seat up.
To sign up, visit the International Education Centre (C021) front desk between 8:30am and 4:30pm before Friday, October 21, 2022.
